I teach transparent watercolor to students in coastal New Jersey: Brigantine, Ocean City, Galloway, and Tuckerton.

I also teach three-day workshops in various locations.

While it is nice to get awards, the most important thing to me has been the friendships and camaraderie that has occurred in our classes. My students have developed and progressed with their work in a fun and non-stressful atmosphere and they have brought the most joy to my art life. Being able to teach as a professional artist leaves the stress out of the classroom because my curriculum does not have to be approved by a Board of Education. Many of my students have become very close to my heart and I know we will be lasting friends.

Maggie's Workshops

My classes are for students who are dedicated to a willing and free spirit, who are ready to allow their inner creativity to take them on a most wonderful journey with outstanding techniques and with a medium that returns wonderful results. I cover a variety of watercolor techniques, from the traditional to the unorthodox, in order to help students create art they love! I offer peacefulness, joyfulness, the nuances, the intricacies and the possibilities and the GREAT FUN of painting.

Part of my goal as an instructor is to help students prepare for and encourage them to enter shows. Many have been accepted into juried shows and a few of them have taken awards and sold their work.
